Client authority

Decisions that remain with the client

The client retains final authority over job qualifications, interview evaluations, hiring decisions, employment offers, compensation, employee classification, background-check decisions, drug-test decisions, and all employment-related approvals.

Defined boundaries

Important boundaries

  • VINE coordinates approved third-party background checks and drug tests but does not perform those checks.
  • Sponsored job-advertising costs and third-party provider fees are client expenses unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • VINE does not promise employment or communicate an offer until it has been approved by an authorized client representative.
